Tamiya 1/24 Calsonic Skyline GT-R (R34) Plastic Model Kit

The Tamiya 1/24 Calsonic Skyline GT-R (R34) recreates the low, wide racer that contested the 1999 All Japan Grand Touring Car Championship in Calsonic's iconic blue livery.

Please note this is an unassembled plastic model kit requiring assembly; paints, cement and hobby tools are not included and are required to complete the model.

For the 1999 All Japan GT Championships, Nissan brought out a new machine based on the R34 Skyline, built more compactly than its R33 predecessor with a narrower wheelbase, developed to take advantage of the reinforced chassis introduced on the production model earlier that year. Except for the roof, the body was completely remade in carbon fibre and fitted with a large, curved rear wing as part of its aerodynamic, stylish form. Its inline six-cylinder DOHC twin turbo engine, refined continuously since 1990, was paired with a 6-speed sequential transmission driving the rear wheels.
